Immigration officer’s wife kidnapped along Lagos Badagry expressway

Badagry (Lagos State), Oct.7, 2025 (NAN) Mrs Ladi Abel, a 45-year-old, wife of a senior immigration officer under Seme Command of Nigeria Immigration Service was on Monday kidnapped along Badagry Mile 2 road in Lagos.
Mr Isaac Elijah, the Public Relations Officer, NIS, Seme Border Command told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Badagry that the woman left her home in Sawmill, Badagry around 7.30a.m.
According to the PRO, Abel left for Trade Fair complex in Lagos to buy goods at the complex when she was kidnapped.
“One of the kidnappers used the woman phone to contact her husband, CSI Abel Mada, requesting for a sum of N7m to free her wife who is in their custody.
“Also this morning around 6.00.a.m, one of kidnappers called again reducing the ransom to N3m if they want the woman alive,” he said.
The PRO they had reported the case in Badagry Police Station and Area K Zonal office of Nigeria Police.
