APEX LEADER, BAMGBOSE, WELCOMES GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU AHEAD OF 420 NEW HOMES COMMISSIONING IN BADAGRY
The Apex Leader of Badagry West, Hon. Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph (fMHR), has extended his warm welcome message to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ahead of the official commissioning of 420 new home units at the Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara, Badagry, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
While speaking with Badagry Parrot News correspondents today at his Badagry residence, Hon. Bamgbose commended the Governor for his foresight and unwavering commitment to balanced development across all parts of Lagos State, especially the ancient and historic town of Badagry.
He described the Ajara housing project as a landmark intervention that will significantly improve the living standards of residents, offering comfort and a sense of belonging to families, civil servants, and small business owners across the federation and beyond
According to him, the facility will serve communities stretching across Badagry West LCDA, Badagry Local Government, and Olorunda LCDA, thereby easing accommodation pressures and enhancing the urban outlook of the area.
“This facility is not just about concrete and roofs; it speaks to dignity, comfort, and renewed hope for our people,” Hon. Bamgbose said. “Governor Sanwo-Olu has once again shown that governance driven by compassion and sincerity can truly transform lives at the grassroots.”
He further emphasized that the housing estate reflects the inclusiveness of the Greater Lagos agenda, which continues to bridge developmental gaps between the state’s urban centers and its border communities. He noted that such projects inspire confidence among the people that Badagry remains a vital part of the state’s growth vision.
Hon. Bamgbose also urged residents to cherish and maintain the new estate as a shared heritage, calling on community leaders and youth groups to support government efforts in sustaining the infrastructure. He expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Ministry of Housing and local leadership, for their cooperation and contributions toward the successful realization of the project.
